Night Light is designed as a wooden box  positioned on top of a life guard stand when not in use during winter time.  The box offers an inner intimate space along the open promenade and a visual  experience in a unique internal space where one can disconnect from the  outside. Its perforated walls let daylight infiltrates having the effect of  twinkling stars. Handles found in the walls play hidden music boxes which  turn the entire experience into being magical, as a children’s night light.

At night the box’s inner space is lit  so that its visual effect is inverted: light that shines through its walls  turns it into a huge lantern, while revealing its inner space towards the  promenade.
